Welcome to the Gulf Coast District Official Website

The Gulf Coast District is comprised of seven (7) states - Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina,
South Carolina, and South America-Colombia.We are part of a fraternal organization known as the Knights of Peter
Claver, Incorporated. We are Roman Catholic men, women, boys and girls dedicated to service to God,
our Church and our communities.

The Knights of Peter Claver are named for Father Peter Claver, a 17th Century Spanish Jesuit priest, later named
a saint, who ministered to slaves in Columbia and pushed for the abolition of slavery.

We have divisions of men, women, and children. The men are known as Knights who belong to Councils. The
women are known as Ladies whose units are called Courts. The boys and girls, ranging from ages 7 to 18, are
known as Juniors. The boys are Junior Knights belonging to Junior Branches and the girls are Junior Daughters
belonging to Junior Courts. Our membership is open to any individual who is a practicing Catholic and who
have made their First Communion.

June 10-12, 2022

Transformed in Christ by his Sacred Heart!

The Fifty First Junior Virtual Conference of the Junior Knights and Junior Daughters will be held June 10-12, 2022.
The conference will be completely VIRTUAL. We are planning an amazing experience to engage our Juniors virtually and enrich their
minds for continuous contributions to the Knights of Peter Claver. We enthusiastically invite participation from each of our
Junior Branches and Junior Courts in this endeavor. Click here for more.

CONGRATULATIONS, Lady Bernadine Austin
Celebrating 50+ years as a Claver Lady

Lady Kathryn Wilkinson and Grand Lady Ruthie Thaggart-White presented Lady Bernadine Austin
with a certificate commemorating her 50+ years as a Claver Lady in
Little Flower Court 25, Biloxi, Mississippi.

Claver‘s celebrated Divine Mercy Sunday by dressing out in their finest regalia in
spreading FAITH, HOPE, and LOVE through FRIENDSHIP, UNITY, and CHRISTIAN CHARITY!

As Father Desmond from Most Blessed Sacrament said It was good to see the KPC Knights and Ladies dressed in their
KPC outfits. It has been so long, and it‘s always so good to see the Knights and Ladies
continuing to work and support the parish and the community.
